(3 credits) 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Students will investigate the nature of catalytic proteins, their properties, and the kinetics of enzyme catalyzed reactions An understanding of these concepts will then be applied to some of the important metabolic pathways that support life Laboratory exercises will highlight the study of enzymes and metabolism.
