(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours This course deals with human interaction with plants as sources of food, fuel, shelter, fiber, medicine and psychoactive substances. The impact of plants on culture and religion will be explored. Plant improvement by traditional and modern methods will also be discussed. Note: This course cannot be used as a General Science Option.
