(3 Credits) 4 Lecture hours This course will provide students with the opportunity to further develop their oral, reading and writing skills. It also allows them to gain a more in-depth understanding of Chinese culture. Note: Students with previous knowledge of Chinese are required to contact the Department of English, Languages, and Cultures in order to take a placement test to determine the appropriate course level prior to registering in a Chinese course. Students who register in a course that is not appropriate to their level of language proficiency, as determined by the Department of English, Languages, and Cultures, may be deregistered from the class without prior notice.
