Data Science I: Introduction to Databases

Lec 001 and Tut 401 selected

(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours, 1 Tutorial hour This course emphasizes concepts necessary to design and implement databases using a variety of data models including relational, and non-relational models. Practical application with a number of Database Management Systems is included with an emphasis on data processing in a data science environment. Note: Credit will be allowed for only one of COMP 2521 and DATA 2721.
