(3 credits) 3 hours lecture This course explores the knowledge and skills required to implement programs of studies in teaching Social Studies in Elementary (1 – 6) Education. The course will address a range of approaches to develop instruction, plan units of study, integrate curriculum, develop resources and assessment strategies to meet students’ needs.
