ENVS 4405
Air Quality
Lec 001 and Lab 501 selected
(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours, 3 Laboratory hours Explore the structure and evolution of Earth’s atmosphere and its interactions with the biosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and lithosphere. Investigate how natural processes and human activities influence the cycling of elements such as carbon and sulfur, and how these interactions shape air quality and climate. Use real data, predictive models, and mitigation strategies to assess current atmospheric conditions and anticipate future scenarios. Connect atmospheric processes to broader environmental systems. Note: This course can not be used as a General Science Option.
