Geospatial Web Programming

(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours, 3 Lecture hours The course will engage students in advanced topics relating to Web and mobile GIS, including Web GIS system architecture, geospatial web services, and geoportals. Students will apply programming skills (JavaScript, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, ArcPy, and APIs) to build custom interactive web map solutions, create custom workflows and automate analysis processes. Web-based cartographic design and user experience will be explored.
