(3 credits) 3 hours lecture The Historian’s Craft is an introduction to history as a distinct field of study. It aims to help students understand what history is, what it means to be a historian, and how to write history. The course is intended primarily but not exclusively for history majors in order to prepare them for the advanced study of history in upper-division courses.
