(3 credits) 3 hours lecture This course provides an overview of Latin American regional similarities and cultural differences through the study of contemporary indigenous peoples, the Iberian heritage and contemporary national cultures. Students will explore many forms of artistic expression, including literature, architecture and popular culture. The aim is the development of cultural understanding of the various societies in Hispanic America.
