NTSC 3000

(3 Credits) 2 Lecture hours, 2 Laboratory hours This course will provide science-teaching and curricular theory along with practical examples of material and demonstrations that can be used in a grade-school classroom. This course is a survey of experimental content and methods from all disciplines and levels within the Alberta Education Elementary and Junior High School Programs of Study. Students will be expected to participate in activities, write up lab reports, and to design, test, and present their own demonstration to the class. Note: This course cannot be used as a General Science Option.
