Learning and Behaviour - Work Integrated Learning
(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours, 2 Experiential Learning hours This course examines psychological learning theories, research, and methodologies used to teach new behaviours, extinguish maladaptive behaviours, and develop adaptive behaviours. Topics will focus on the role that environmental events and consequences play in the development of behaviour and how changing these factors can lead to meaningful changes in these behaviours in a variety of work and everyday situations. The course will also focus on the development of career-readiness skills through the pairing with a community partner to complete a work integrated learning experience and project. Group work and presentations are a key part of the assessments for this course.
