(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours This course explores contemporary issues in the neural control of behaviour. We discuss motivation and emotion, sleep, learning and memory, psychopathology, mood disorders, the gut-brain axis, attention, and consciousness from a biopsychology perspective. Students will also gain a deeper understanding of biological psychology research techniques.
