(3 Credits) 3 Lecture hours This advanced social work course explores theories of social work practice with particular attention to those that promote change. Emphasis is on the application of theories through the development of interventions for direct social work practice. Students will be prepared to critically appraise and apply social work knowledge, as well as knowledge from other disciplines, to advance professional practice, policy development, and service provision.
