WGST 3309

(3 credits) 3 hours lecture (formerly WMST 3309) This course examines contemporary debates among feminists in Canada and around the world. We will compare concerns about the global situation of women, as articulated by international bodies such as the United Nations, with concerns articulated by feminists in different parts of the world. Course topics will shift to reflect the continuous and dynamic evolution of feminist thought and activism in contemporary social and political contexts.
