Intro to Visual Culture

Lec 01 selected

Explores the impact of visual art on culture and politics. Examples from a variety of visual media will be examined to investigate the role of visual design in creating cultural narratives, ideology and institutions. Examples from art history, comics, movies and video games will animate the course themes.
