Foundations for Elem Schools

Lec 01 selected

Examines philosophical, social and cultural foundations of education impacting teaching and learning processes in the Nova Scotian elementary classroom, such as gender 2SLGBTQ+, class, poverty, race/ethnicities and multilingualism. The course will help identify processes of marginalization and addresses how to resist them by establishing ethical and equitable learning environments.
