Focuses on issues of globalization and the role of business in the global economy. Topics includethe following: the role of multinational corporations in economic development; market entrystrategies for small and medium-sized enterprises; challenges of managing economic, cultural,and technological changes and differences; the role of international investment and foreign directinvestment; and international business strategies required to compete in a highly interconnectedworld. Students will gain the skills to function within the international and global businesscontexts.
