Includes an introduction to types of contracts, project delivery approaches, and prevailing contractual relationships. The course examines basic project management techniques for network planning and scheduling (CPM and PERT); principles of resource productivity databases, preliminary estimating, and detailed bid preparation; quantitative approaches for effective control of time, cost, resource, quality, and value of constructed facilities; and use of computer software for scheduling, estimating, and control.
