Examines how social and cultural difference has been explored and theorized in avariety of digital contexts with a focus on contemporary issues. This course develops avocabulary and critical framework for understanding diversity in relation to identities,bodies, and communities; introduces debates surrounding diversity and difference withindigital spaces; and considers how individuals and groups have responded toopportunities and challenges related to matters such as access, representation, andsocial justice.
