Academic Literacies in Adult and Post-Secondary Learning Contexts examines the literacies, discourses and epistemologies of post-secondary learning contexts. Academic areas are ways of knowing which are generated and defended through language, practices and texts. This course explores ways of making explicit these often implicit activities. It provides opportunities to understand different forms of knowledge, what counts as evidence, and how ?texts? are developed, written, read and performed.
