ED 3151 - Multilingualism in the Classroom (PE) is a course whose goal is to introduce pre-service teachers to the needs of students whose first language is not English in the primary/elementary classroom. Emphasis will be placed on the development of language skills in English, issues associated with reading and writing in an additional language and cultural sensitivity in multilingual classrooms.
