ED 4142 - The Teaching and Learning of the English Language Arts in the Intermediate and Secondary School (IS,ISI,ME) draws on research in the teaching and learning of English/language and literacy to prepare teacher candidates to develop engaging, differentiated experiences for students. Topics include: curriculum; the nature and structure of language and literature programs; test analysis, response and critique; writing and representing genres in multimodal and linguistic; media literacy forms; and oracy.
