ED 4154 - The Teaching and Learning of French in the Intermediate and Secondary School (IS,ISI,ME) provides an introduction to the nature and purpose of French programs in Canada. Topics include: an overview of the purpose of core French and French immersion; theories and principles of second-language teaching and learning; methods; techniques, strategies and characteristics of effective planning and assessment in second-language teaching.
