Introduction to Mechatronics

ME 5201 Introduction to Mechatronics involves modelling of mechatronic systems and introduction to basic analog and digital electronic devices. Topics covered include lumped-parameter modelling of mechatronic systems, basic electronic components and semiconductors, op amps, digital logic and number systems, combinational logic circuits, microcontroller technology and interfacing (switches, LEDs, steppers, solenoids, A/D and D/A conversion).
