The writings of the New Testament are foundational for Christian faith and practice. In this course, students will read selections from across the NT canon – from the four Gospels and Acts; Pauline literature; Johannine, Petrine, and other Catholic epistles. Students will learn to read the New Testament through the integrative lenses of history, literature, and theology, and will practice basic skills in the art of exegesis.
