ENGL 2323
Queer Lives and Letters
Lec 2 selected
Students consider the published works and private correspondence of writers who, based on their lived experience in a variety of historical periods and/or cultural contexts, can be considered 'queer.' We will attend to how these writers constructed their fabulous lives in language as they moved through social worlds that were inconsistently accepting of genders and sexualities that fell outside of cis-/het-/allo- norms.
