Ghosts

Students explore beliefs in ghosts (a belief that human souls linger after death) in a cross-cultural context, examining a range of cultural products related to ghosts including movies, folktales, and ghost tourism from around the world. Students also explore anthropological theories regarding beliefs and practices related to ghosts.
