SPAN 2000

Taught in English, this course provides an overview of Latin American countries not covered in SPAN 1000 across a range of cultural production (film, song, dance, and cuisine) with a study of prominent events and notable figures who have shaped the region in the modern day. The course covers such topics as culture, Indigenous decolonization, revolution, migration and the dynamics of economic development and human rights.
