Globalization has affected economies at all scales, from the household to international trading and investments. This course will examine how people make a living in this context. Ethnographic studies will be used to explore such aspects as international labour migration, global commodity chains, tourism, and the sending and investing of money. Cross-listed as DEVS 223.
