The topic for 2026-2027 is Indigenous Studies in Science. An introduction to the interrelationships of living systems and their roles in the global ecosystem in Pictou Landing. Students will explore evolution and the origins of life, diversity, adaptions, and ecology. Indigenous perspectives on human interactions with the diversity of life are considered throughout the course. Restricted to students in the BSc Pictou Landing and Paqtnkek in-community cohort. Three credits.
