This course examines the structure and function of cells with a focus on eukaryotic cells. Cell function and form will be discussed as the co-ordinated interaction of molecules. Evolution of cells will be discussed in context. Both the theory and practice of experimental techniques used to study cell and molecular structure and function are emphasized.
