An application of philosophical theory to a variety of current issues relevant to business. By examining the consequences of business decisions upon a wide range of stakeholders, students are provided with an overview of the many ways in which business interacts with society and the social and moral responsibilities that this interaction may generate. Classes feature a mix of lectures and lively discussion, debates, and analysis of current events.
