Introduces students to important organizational theories and organizational design principles. The course focuses on topics ranging from organizational strategy, structure and culture to organizational change. It also addresses the historical development of the modern business corporation and its changing role in society currently as an agent and vehicle of globalization. Classes feature lectures and discussions, student presentations, and case-based applications of the covered material.
