The properties, reactions and synthesis of hydrocarbons, alkyl halides and alcohols; relationships between the structures of organic compounds and their physical and chemical properties; reaction mechanisms, and stereochemistry. Credit will be granted for only one of CHEM 221, CHEM 220 or CHEM 225.
