This course will introduce students to the uniqueness of art within the Nova Scotia P-6 curriculum, and it will empower students to develop a strong appreciation for the value of art (making/looking/reflecting) in elementary schools. Students will learn and create cross-curricular experiences while infusing the elements and principles of design, the creative process, and assessment practices. This course is also open to secondary students. Three credits.
