Sedimentology & Stratigraphy

Study of sedimentary facies analysis and interpretation of ancient depositional environments, petrology of clastic and carbonate sedimentary rocks, sequence stratigraphy, and methods of stratigraphic and correlation in surface and subsurface settings. Labs include examination of sedimentary rocks and interpretation of real-world stratigraphic and seismic datasets.
