This course introduces students to theatre and performance studies. Through critical reading, written reflections, and practice-based workshops, students will learn how to analyze and apply performance. Students will study theatre, performance studies, and media as an academic discipline and as cultural practice. Students will also examine how performance impacts social justice, politics, social media, and the world around us. This course includes attendance at a Theatre Antigonish production (on campus with flexible dates/times).
