The topic for 2026-2027 is Making History. This course takes an experiential learning approach to teaching the nature of historical inquiry through hands-on research practice. Students will learn how to frame research questions, evaluate primary and secondary sources, and construct evidence-based interpretations of the past. With emphasis on research skills, analytical thinking, and effective writing, this course invites students to “make history” through a guided research project. Three credits.
