Western Art Music I

An overview of musical styles and forms from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. This course addresses the broad spectrum of musical contributions that allowed for the development of Western music. The ability to read music is required. Credit will be granted for only one of MUSI 322 or MUSI 315.
