SMGT 322

An introduction to the tools and systems available for effective leadership and people management in sport organizations. It will also cover various careers in sport management through guest speakers who are current professionals in the field. Topics include leadership and management principles, sport planning, career planning, and strategic resource management. Credit will be granted for only one of SMGT 322 or BSAD 363 completed prior to 2024-2025. Restricted to students in the sport management minor program.
