WMGS 205

Gender, Sexuality & the Body

Lec 10 selected

How are different bodies sexualized, gendered, normalized, and Othered? This course offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the narratives about bodies, relationships, and sexuality that shape our individual and collective experience of the world. Together, we ask how individual experiences of injustice predicated on Othered bodies and categories — from trans exclusion and medical misogyny to police violence and global conflict — might be transformed into collective action that champions solidarity, access, and care.
