FIRE 1000

This course focuses on the impact of wildfire from local to global scales. Students discuss wildfire management challenges in the context of global environmental change. Students will be introduced to fire management systems, prevention and suppression, and wildfire policy. Students will engage in discussions on western and Indigenous relationships with fire.
