MATH 2210

Algebra in one of the main branches of Mathematics. This course offers some fundamental concepts of algebra in a mathematically rigorous manner. Topics include congruence and modular arithmetic, complex numbers, De Moivre’s Theorem, rings and ring homomorphisms, integral domains and fields, polynomial arithmetic, reducibility and irreducibility, and congruence in the ring of polynomials.
