NURS 6700

The capstone course is a culminating academic and intellectual experience that allows students to integrate and apply their knowledge, skill, and competencies to a real-world problem or area of interest in nursing. This course is designed to support students in the completion of a major paper or project. The course provides a collaborative environment where students can refine their focus on current healthcare and nursing practice issues, examining and analyzing evidence-based practice and healthcare policy. Emphasis is placed on the integration of evidence, ethical considerations, and the practical application of research findings to improve patient care and healthcare systems.
