PSYC 4010

Students will explore the theory and practice of interpersonal communication and basic counselling skills. They will investigate foundational counselling skills including attending, paraphrasing, empathic responding, questions, summarizing, and challenging. Students will gain practical experience in structuring a counselling session and will work to develop an understanding of the helping process.
