Exotic and Lab Animal Care

Veterinary technology students develop a practical understanding of the principles and techniques of housing and husbandry needs of common exotic pets and laboratory animal species. Through a combination of lab and lecture, the student will be instructed on how to handle, determine the sex of, medicate, anesthetize and restrain common species for clinical procedures.
