Introduces fundamental pedagogical concepts and skills for teaching elementary mathematics using the B.C. Ministry of Education curriculum. Focus is placed on developing conceptual understanding and strategic competence in mathematics. Includes Indigenous math resources and pedagogies, along with mathematics for equity, diversity, and inclusive education. -- Prerequisite -- Admission to the Bachelor of Education. -- Corequisite -- None. -- Pre or Corequisite -- None.
