Applied theatre is theatre for, by, and with community. Students will explore applied theatre and performance methods used by educators and practitioners in a variety of fields outside of professional theatre contexts. This course addresses the ethics of working with non-professional collaborators and the use of theatre and performance to promote equity and social justice.
