ART 2027

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of photography. Students explore light, camera obscura, pinhole and film cameras, black and white darkroom processes, analogue materials, digital capture and image processing, display technique and presentation design within the context of contemporary art and visual culture. Equivalent: Art 3026 (prior to 2022/2023) Note: Studio course. For sections where Art 2027 is offered twice weekly, an extra hour is required per week for set up and clean up.
