ART 3024

This advanced course supports independent exploration in painting in the expanded field. Painting installation and painting as it extends to textiles, photography, objects and space are critically examined. Diverse approaches and media are explored within the context of contemporary art. Prerequisite(s): Art 2023 AND 15 university-level courses (a minimum of 45.0 credit hours) Recommended Background: Art 3023 Note: Studio course. For sections where Art 3024 is offered twice weekly, an extra hour is required per week for set up and clean up.
